Each year, the editors of Wine Spectator survey wines and compile a list of the top 100 wines of the year based on quality, value, availability and excitement. We’ve filtered the list to provide you with their top wines of 2014 for under $15.

Bodegas Montecillo Rioja Viña Cumbrero Crianza – $10

Ranked number 62, this wine is described as having “crisp flavors of tart cherry, fresh herb, anise and mineral, supported by light, firm tannins and lively acidity. Graceful, with balanced fruity and savory notes that give way to a spicy, floral finish.” – TM

Loosen Bros. Riesling QbA Mosel Dr. L – $12

Ranked number 40, this Riesling is described as a “succulent white filled with plush red peach, cherry and white currant flavors that are supported by zesty acidity. Long and creamy on the finish, offering plenty of spicy overtones.” – KM

Charles Smith Riesling Columbia Valley Kung Fu Girl Evergreen – $12

Ranked number 43, this wine is described as “crisp and sleek, with juicy, expansive nectarine and peach flavors that play against citrusy acidity, finishing with zing and a sense of softness that lets the finish keep singing.” – HS

Veramonte Cabernet Sauvignon Colchagua Valley El Caballero – $12

Ranked number 55, this Cabernet Sauvignon is described as “firm and well-focused, with zesty red plum and wild berry flavors, supported by crisp acidity and chewy tannins. Green herb and spice notes appear on the finish.” – KM

João Portugal Ramos Alentejo Ramos Reserva – $13

Ranked number 56, this wine is described as having “black olive, dark currant and dried plum flavors giving this red plenty of power and lift. Quite minerally as well, featuring an intense and balanced finish that lingers with fig paste and raspberry ganache elements.” – KM

Viña Bisquertt Syrah Colchagua Valley La Joya Gran Reserva – $13

Ranked number 44, this wine is described as “open-knit, creamy and lush-tasting, with spiced cherry, dark plum and boysenberry flavors that ooze with rich, spicy notes. Fig and chocolate mousse details flood the finish.” – KM

Tohu Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough Single Vineyard – $13

Ranked number 67, this wine is described as a “succulent mix of citrus and tropical fruit, with Meyer lemon, passion fruit and lemon verbena notes accented by a distinct sea salt hint. Generous and refreshing, with a long, persistent finish.” – MW

Kourtakis Assyrtiko Santorini Greek Wine Cellars – $13

Ranked number 70, this white wine is described as a “broad and lush-tasting white from Greece, with plenty of rich, spicy notes to the pear tart, melon and baked apple flavors, gliding smoothly across the palate. The long finish echoes with mango, ripe citrus and buttery details.” – KM

Viña Cono Sur Cabernet Sauvignon-Carmenère Colchagua Valley – $14

Ranked number 44, this Cabernet Sauvignon-Carmenere is described as “refined, mineral-infused flavors of dark currant, plum and dried blackberry. Anise and cocoa powder notes provide added complexity.” – KM

Domäne Wachau Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Trocken Wachau Terrassen – $14

Ranked number 90, this wine is described as a “supple texture, with flavors of ripe pineapple and apple tart accented by a rich creaminess. Ginger snap and white chocolate details show on the airy, elegant finish.” – KM
