Pinot Noirs are famous for their flavors ranging from ripe red berries to sweet black cherries. For a red wine, Pinot Noirs, tend to be medium to low body. Due to the wine’s lightness in tannins, aging is not dominant. Pinots are wines that are subtle; therefore, roasted chicken or pasta would be ideal to pair with. Try to stay away from heavy or spicy foods that will take over the wine.
Pinot Noir is most notably known from the Burgundy regions of France, but has now been growing in places such as Oregon, California, New Zealand, Australia, and Chile.
